7 Emmerdale spoilers next week: Dingle blackmail and theft drama ahead

Next week, more Dingle mayhem will erupt in the community as the cunning Samson (Sam Hall) looks to take advantage of Noah’s (Jack Downham) fortune. Samson’s father Sam (James Hooton) is experiencing financial difficulties, which results in a shocking circumstance involving Eric Pollard (Chris Chittell).

Meanwhile, Bob Hope’s (Tony Audenshaw) troubled daughter Cathy (Gabrielle Dowling) is having yet another difficult day. Following recent occurrences, Arthur Thomas (Alfie Clarke) is given unwavering support, but nanny Nicky (Lewis Cope) grows weary of Gabby Thomas’s (Rosie Bentham) intrigue.

Marcus Dean (Darcy Grey), Ethan Anderson’s boyfriend, gives him a heartbreaking surprise, while Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) gets involved in Leyla Cavanagh’s (Roxy Shahidi) life.

1. Samson Dingle blackmails Noah Dingle

Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell), the mother of his child, and her lover Noah are still at odds thanks to Samson. Marcus has left the hamlet, and Noah is devastated when he loses his apprenticeship (more on what causes this sudden exit below). Amelia is scrambling to find a babysitter for baby Esther while Noah dashes off to see a potential new employer. When Noah discovers Samson had been taking care of Esther while he was away, he is furious. Samson plays with Noah while he schemes to get Amelia’s favor, so he has every right to be suspicious of his cousin’s motivations.

Samson tricks Noah into consenting to a payoff from his trust money in exchange for Samson’s promise to stay away from Esther, throwing Noah for a loop. Samson is overjoyed when Noah pays him £2k to keep Esther and Amelia away, and unaware Amelia is devastated that her attempts to get in touch with Samson have failed. Will she learn what transpired between Samson and Noah?

2. Sam Dingle’s thieving leads to an accident

Sam wishes he and his wife Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) could do more financially to support their granddaughter as his son extorts money for his own advantage. In order to assist pay for all of Esther’s requirements, he suggests to brother Cain (Jeff Hordley) that he raise Dan Spencer (Liam Foxpay. )’s Cain declines, but when he advises Sam to think creatively like a genuine Dingle, Sam becomes reflective.

Sam tries to divert Pollard in the store while he steals baby supplies, but the suspicious older man soon confronts him. Sam runs away from the situation out of fear, but as Pollard pursues him, he trips and strikes his head. Sam is horrified by what he’s done as he stares down at Pollard, who is unconscious. How will Pollard fare? Sam and Lydia are forced to try to find a method to keep Sam out of prison no matter what happens next. Can his skin be saved?

3. Fresh crisis for the Hopes

Bob is upset when Bernice hires a harpist for the big night as they prepare for the re-opening of the B&B with their new business partner Bernice Blackstock (Samantha Giles). Soon, she is spending the night with Tim the harpist, but when Tim skips opening day due to oversleeping, Bernice jumps into action and fills in. Wendy Posner (Susan Cookson), however, mishears a chat between Bob and Bernice and believes the two have had an affair when Bob informs her he’s found the harpist dead. Before Wendy throws ice cold water down on Bob from an upper floor window, she accuses him of cheating on her. Wendy’s charges infuriate Bernice, but she devises a strategy when she thinks Wendy might also be going through the menopause. Bernice: Am I on the right path?

Daughter Cathy loses it with Bob’s marital woes and is upset when her father suggests she stay somewhere else for the B&B’s opening night. Cathy feels ashamed and flees in tears after accidently destroying the cake that Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) made for the occasion. In an effort to defuse Cathy’s agitation, Bernice presents her an amethyst pendant to reduce her stress. Cathy loses her temper when she tries to apologize to Bob but he reveals he’d rather she stay away from the B&B. She crushes her pendant with her foot and wonders why she’s still feeling this way. Will Bob listen to Cathy when she returns to talk to him about her concerns? Can Cathy find support after seeking medical attention for her painful periods? Will Bob defeat Wendy in the final?

4. Arthur Thomas finds allies

Mum Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy), Arthur’s potential love interest, consoles him as Marshall reiterates their inability to remain friends. However, things start to look up when Arthur asks Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) for assistance in getting ready for his LGBTQ+ event. How well-attended will Arthur’s event be? Will Marshall be able to shed his father’s repugnant ideologies and at the very least forge a friendship with the charming Arthur?

5. Nicky quits amid Gabby Thomas’s games

Gabby was relieved to learn that Nicky thought she was attractive, while not wanting to cross any boundaries at Home Farm where he is taking care of her kid Thomas. She persists in trying to get his attention, though, and grows frustrated when she keeps getting turned down. When she asks Nicky to zip up her dress as his eyes flit about her, she finally sparks a spark between them. Although Gabby is happy to be making progress, she is aware that Nicky is reluctant to begin a relationship with her because she is his boss. So that they can enjoy themselves, Gabby temporarily fires him. However, Nicky is unimpressed, and when he decides to leave instead, Gabby is left helpless. How is she going to handle the consequences of her game-playing?

6. A shock for Ethan Anderson as Marcus Dean departs

Marcus and Ethan reconcile after their most recent argument, which makes Ethan happy, but Marcus is keeping something from him. Unaware, Ethan intends to pop the question to Marcus, but he’s in for a big surprise. What does he learn? Since Ethan’s unscrupulous boss Greg harassed Marcus sexually, the relationship has been strained, and now it has been revealed that Emmerdale actor Darcy Grey has departed the program. But why does Marcus go, and how? Simply continue to watch to find out.

7. Jai Sharma meddles in Leyla Cavanagh’s life

Jacob, who is still enraged about how Leyla’s addiction caused him to stab her, is urged by Jai to get in touch with her. Jai is eager to persuade Jacob to assist in Leyla’s recovery, so she is touched when he finally gets in touch. Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough), however, is taken aback when Jai cautions her against spending time with Leyla. Jai thinks that Leyla’s addiction is a result of Suzy’s influence, but Suzy was the first of the two to give up narcotics. What will Leyla do about Jai’s interference?
