Last night EASTENDERS cast and crew met for a big party to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the soap.

The soap commemorated the on-screen occasion this week with a drastic week of moments culminating in a boat catastrophe and the death of Dennis Mitchell, a heritage character.

Soap bosses in Hackney put on the bash so that the hard-working cast and crew could cut loose and relax after a few long months.

After a week of record ratings, the series stars Kellie Bright, Max Bowden and Tony Clay were seen leaving the bash in high spirits last evening.

Likewise, Maisie Smith, Milly Zero and Zack Morris were pictured as they headed home on the tiles after a night.

Actor Bleu Landau was seen leaving early and meeting with fans who had camped outside hoping to meet their heroes for photographs.
