After derailing Stephen Reid’s plan with Rufus Donahue, Michael Bailey may be in danger, according to Coronation Street viewers.
Fans of Coronation Street have seen Todd Boyce’s Stephen Reid (who made his cobblestone debut last year) resort to extreme measures to prevent his secrets from being revealed. Leo Thompkins (Joe Frost) and Teddy Thompkins (Grant Burgin), whom he had already killed, appear to be the serial killer’s next targets.

In an effort to replace Carla Connor (Alison King) at the Underworld factory, the Canadian businessman has been drugging her over the past few months.

However, Rufus Donahue (Steve Meo), who threatened to inform everyone about the spiking unless he terminated the American contract, almost made his cunning ways known.

Rufus almost became Stephen’s third victim when he planned to attack with a hunch pole in rage, but he managed to escape thanks to a worker who intervened.

Although in more recent scenes, employee Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell) learned that, contrary to what he had initially believed, it was Stephen who had severed ties with Americans Owen and Angelique.

Stephen continued to tell Michael lies as he confronted him about the future of Underworld while claiming that Rufus had made a better offer that he couldn’t refuse.

Michael was able to persuade Owen and Angelique to increase their initial offer and secure a better deal for the factory in an effort to win over the Americans.

To prevent Rufus from disclosing all the details of the drug spiking, Stephen had to pretend to be pleased with the news while also coming up with a counteroffer.

Finally, Stephen proposed to give Rufus 10% of the revenue that Underworld would generate from the new business arrangement.

Rufus requested a steep 25 percent instead after realizing Stephen would have to submit to his demands. The murderer was forced to accept it.

‘Plotting something evil once again.

Following Todd Boyce’s revelation that Stephen would kill once more, viewers immediately took to Twitter to express their fear that Michael might be the next victim because Rufus had made a significant profit by renegotiating the deal with the Americans.

said priya kaur uk: “Michael needs to exercise caution. He could become Stephen’s upcoming victim! #Corrie”

“#Corrie Michael will be Stephens’s next victim,” GeorgiaBowring continued.

“Michael set to be hammered over the head with a shovel… as Stephen closes in. #corrie,” MartinLeyland0 tweeted.

Asked by RyanTheSoapking: “Could Michael be the cause of Stephen’s demise? He’ll probably learn something about Stephen, maybe even the LSD, #Corrie.”
Another Weatherfield resident will be killed in April, the soap star teased in an interview with The Mirror.
After that, I believe there might be more because he now has a taste for it, he said. He might as well get caught for four or five, he figures, if he gets caught for three.

It would be fantastic to be remembered as the series’ most prolific serial killer. What a reputation to have.

Iain MacLeod, the head of Coronation Street, previously told the Loose Women panel that Stephen’s terror will eventually end.

When host Denise Welch questioned whether or not viewers would see the murderer face justice, Iain admitted that they would.

Of course he is, he said. In a soap opera, the villains almost always end up getting what’s coming to them. So yes, 100%. Between now and then, there will be plenty of fun to be had.

ITVX and ITV1 will continue to air Coronation Street at 8 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
