Spoilers on Coronation Street show that Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) will go to the police next week to report on the actions of Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Batholomew). Meanwhile, she also does her own investigation into Geoff's past and finds something concerning. She attempts to get through to Yasmeen Nazir (Shelley King) before Geoff takes her overseas to separate her even further. Can Alya get her grandmother home before it's too late?
Alya Nazir’s Concern
Corrie spoilers reveal that Alya will keep being ever more concerned about Geoff than ever before. To report his conduct towards Yasmeen, she will go to the police. However, it is unclear whether the authorities would actually be able to do something, particularly if Yasmeen will not file a complaint herself.

It is teased that Alya is going to do some digging into the history of Geoff and find out about his life before he arrived at the cobbles. She learns that a fight with a former partner has been reported to the police. When she starts immersing herself in her study, Alya discovers Geoff is a dangerous man and her grandmother is in extreme danger. How can she get Yasmeen to see Geoff's reality, and safely get her out?
Warning Yasmeen Nazir
She finds out, and goes to her grandmother right away. She knows there's a sense of urgency but then she doesn't want to tip Geoff off. Who knows how he would respond when confronted. According to Digital Spy, Khan explained, "She feels she's tried the' softly, softly' tactics but now she knows she's got to do the right thing and jump in and be the hero to look after Yasmeen." That fires very dramatically with potentially dangerous consequences for Yasmeen because she is so under the spell of Geoff that anything like this might do a lot of harm.

Armed with the facts that Geoff is unstable, Yasmeen makes a decision which could have disastrous consequences. She asks Geoff personally about his history. He responds angrily, smashing her plate and then storming out. Geoff will not return until the next morning, so he changes gears so plays the victim as usual. Is it time for Yasmeen to see Geoff before it's too late for the psychopath that he really is?
