It’s a big week for a lot of residents in Coronation Street, as Yasmeen Nazir (Shelley King) makes a big decision, but then finds herself worrying about Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew), while Gemma Winter (Dolly-Rose Campbell) struggles to cope with the quads and ends up making a devastating mistake. Meanwhile, Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) leaves Oliver in Summer Spellman’s care, while David Platt’s (Jack P Shepherd) behaviour leaves Gail Rodwell (Helen Worth) concerned.

Monday 6 April
Yasmeen tries to get past Geoff and she tells Alya she is coming to the wedding. Geoff implies he is suicidal and as Yasmeen heads back with Geoff – and finds there is blood everywhere with no sign of him. Alya is furious and knows Geoff is playing games. Yasmeen calls the police about Geoff.
Chesney arrives home as Bernie moves out while Gemma insists everything is fine. Emma watches as Seb helps Alina carry out coffees to the factory. In the factory, Michael waits to be called and talks to Alina – and she warms to him.
David heads out for a walk but he is secretive with Gail.
Wednesday 8 April
Gemma boards a bus with the quads and hurries off, leaving the babies behind. Chesney sprints after the bus and rescues the babies. Chesney calls Bernie as he worries about Gemma’s state of mind.
Emma takes Eccles and Rovers for a walk. Dev tells Emma that Eccles needs a vet and it is confirmed that she has an inoperable tumor. The Barlows return to discover Eccles is dead. Yasmeen meets up with the police and they tell her about his criminal past.
Rick’s daughter Kelly approaches Alya and Amy and says that she has changed schools and Gary does some digging.
Friday 10 April
Leanne leaves Oliver with Steve for the day and Emma returns to tell Seb she is moving back in and they row. Steve heads to sort the situation, leaving Summer to mind Oliver. But when he returns, he finds Oliver fitting.
Gemma storms out and Rita approaches her Gemma admits she is consumed with dark thoughts. Gemma tells Chesney she no longer feels in control and he takes her to the medical centre.
When Norris lets slip to Ken that Charles slated Eccles, Ken takes action. Nina reveals that she is off to a zero-carbon protest, Toyah is interested. Leanne breaks the news to Imran that they have all been arrested.
