CORONATION Street fans broke down in tears as Daniel Osbourne delivered an emotional wedding speech tonight to his late wife, Sinead. The bereaved father-who played by actor Rob Mallard in the ITV soap-was the best man for his nephew Adam Barlow in his marriage to Sarah Platt.
And while he was delivering his best man's speech, it was obvious that he was concentrating on his late wife Sinead instead of everyone else – and not his girlfriend, Bethany Platt.

Viewers couldn't help but notice that Bethany was becoming more and more nervous when Daniel began reading a love letter between the artist and his wife to Adam and Sarah. He wrote, his voice cracking: "In your last text, I hear a little sob as if you were sick of being alone.
"Oh, Margaret, I hated being alone all the time. There's nothing like that when you're not here.

"Everything has its flatness. I feel like I've been waiting for something for a while, and that's true. I'm waiting for you. "The crowd cheered their support as he struggled to get through it, but it was obvious that Bethany was not coping.

He finished his speech by telling Adam and Sarah, "The inspiring, everlasting love is what you deserve, and I'm so glad you can give it to each other."
Fans broke into tears in the emotional scenes that came so soon after Sinead's death of cervical cancer. One of them said, "Awww, don't make me cry, Daniel." A second said, "Daniel, well done." Another said, "Aww, poor Daniel."
