Couple Ed and Aggie Bailey from CORONATION STREET are about to experience a shock when their daughter Dee Dee arrives in Weatherfield in upcoming scenes.
Since her parents, Ed Bailey (played by Trevor Michael Georges) and Aggie Bailey (Lorna Laidlaw), moved to Weatherfield with her two brothers three years ago, Dee Dee has been mentioned on Coronation Street numerous times. Iain MacLeod, the head of Corrie, has hinted that there will be “chaos” in the ITV soap, so it appears that Dee Dee will be arriving in Weatherfield very soon.
The third child of the Bailey family is a well-known professional who currently resides in Belgium.
Later this month, Channique Sterling-Brown, who plays Dee Dee, will step foot on the cobblestones.
The head of Corrie has since stated that Dee Dee will cause “a certain amount of chaos.”
“She has a heart that is enormous. She is incredibly skilled at what she does, but upon meeting her, you’d never know that “He clarified.
“Dee Dee works in law, and she’s the kind of person who will take on a group of hotshot attorneys point-for-point to defend her client, but when she turns to leave the courtroom, you’ll notice that she did the entire thing while concealing her underwear.
Except for the fact that she has an incredibly sharp mind, she has just amplified chaos in every way. However, she’s a lot of fun.
Iain praised Channique for her “energy” and “vibrance” when talking about choosing her to play Dee Dee.

Iain continued by talking about Dee Dee’s upcoming plot and how she will interact with the Baileys.
He clarified that although she is the pride and joy of her mother, there is competition among her siblings.
He called the newcomer “pathologically people pleasing” and “slightly clumsy.”
Dee Dee will undoubtedly make a big impression when she moves to Weatherfield because the soap opera’s executive producer has hinted that she will play an important role.
When introducing a new character, the natural question is, “And what is her dark secret that she’s concealing when she arrives?” he mused. That usually works out very well for you. We actually debated whether we wanted this character to have one when we created her.

Along with Dee Dee’s arrival, her brother James Bailey’s (Natham Graham) health will be in question.
In scenes that will air this week, James eventually collapses during a charity football game, and Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell) administers CPR.
James is later informed that he has cardiomyopathy and will need to have an ICD installed in order to stop further cardiac arrests.
