The next plot twist in Asha Alahan’s devastating new storyline, Coronation Street has announced.

The teenager will be at the core of a new storyline starting tonight (April 13) as Corey asks her to strip him while on a video call for her love interest.

But pictures of her from the video call will end up being shared from Corey’s phone, and she doesn’t just feel betrayed, but she also feels like her life is over.

Her friends will comfort her over the situation in scenes that will air next week as some local lads taunt her. Aadi is not going to take kindly to people who mock his sister and start a fight.

Elsewhere on the cobbles, Coronation Street has announced a brand new casting – someone who should be familiar to ITV viewers.

Tony Maudsley – who played Kenneth du Beke in the Benidorm comedy show – is joining the soap, and his character will have a strong connection with a former cobbles resident.

The casting was first reported in The Sun, while Maudsley tweeted the news and added: “Yeah, I can definitely confirm that this is real. I’m chuffed to stay at my @itv home and go to Weatherfield, and I couldn’t be happier for one.
