Sarah Barlow of Coronation Street must make a significant choice tonight (February 13) after Carla, her archrival, decides to throw her a lifeline.

Recently, Sarah was exposed for betraying Carla after leveraging her factory and resources to launch a competing company.

This happened only a few weeks after Sarah quit her work at Underworld due to conflicts with her strict supervisor.

With assistance from her business partner Michael Bailey and her uncle Stephen Reid, Sarah has been working on her plans.

After learning that Sarah and Michael had worked on them at the factory – and during work hours when they had previously been working there – Carla seized their designs last week.

This granted Carla ownership of the drawings in accordance with the terms of their prior contracts.

In the episode airing on Monday, Carla seeks to make peace after defeating the plotters.

Sarah is informed by Carla that she can complete the designs she is working on and rejoin the scheduled transaction with businessman Rufus.

Carla, however, also demands an apology, so if Sarah wants things to return to normal, she will have to swallow her pride.

Is Sarah willing to reconcile with Carla? And how will Michael react to getting another chance?

Carla has been identified by Corrie executives as one to watch this month because her conflict with Stephen will take a sinister turn in upcoming episodes.

Stephen starts putting LSD in Carla’s beverages in an effort to make her status at the factory look bad. Peter, Carla’s husband, worries that her madness has resurfaced as the side effects start to manifest.

Stephen’s actor Todd Boyce recently remarked: “Character [Carla] is incredibly well-liked. This is different from how [Stephen] has previously targeted folks who are relatively new characters that people haven’t really gotten to know.

“Oh mate you have no clue what you are in for when this starts, Chris Gascoyne, who plays Carla’s husband Peter, has been so sweet about it.

“I’ve had some amazing sequences with Ali [King], some really scorching scenes, and I’ve relished that. I believe people have appreciated her getting the better of him, so they’ll hate it when the tables are turned.”
