Dan Ewing rose to fame as the star of the popular Occupation film series in recent years.

But the former Home and Away star is still contemplating a return to the soap that made him famous.

The 36-year-old told Now to Love that if the story is good, he’s open to repeating his role as bad boy Heath Braxton.

‘I’m a stickler for storylines, it’s not about ratings for me. Obviously, I’m doing stuff now that takes a lot of time,’ he explained.

‘Would I turn my nose up at it because I see it as lower down the rung? No.’

Before declaring that he is ‘f—king loves Home and Away,’ the beautiful actor lauded the production crew and cast.

‘I think what they’re doing right now is incredible.’ ‘A skilled eye will notice that they’ve updated all of their cameras and invested a significant amount of money in production value,’ he explained.

Dan joined Home and Away in 2011, starring as Heath Braxton until 2014.

He reprised the role in 2015 for the TV movie spin-off Home and Away: An Eye for an Eye followed by Home and Away: Revenge in 2016 and Home and Away: All or Nothing in 2018.

He returned to the show earlier this year for a tiny cameo after spending a few years off.

Dan made the leap to the big screen in 2018 with the lead role in Occupation, an Australian sci-fi blockbuster.

Dan reprised his role in the sequel, Occupation: Rainfall, which was released earlier this year, following the popularity of the first film.

Most recently, Dan appeared in the second season of the reality series SAS Australia.
