EastEnders’ Gray Atkins would reach a breakpoint upon hearing that Whitney Dean has fled Walford. Gray (Toby Alexander-Smith) is gearing up to represent Whitney in her upcoming murder trial but will grow disappointed when he discovers out she is not found anywhere.
An increasingly stressed Gray is alarmed to learn that although Sonia receives a letter, Whitney’s family doesn’t know where she is, with their fears being validated. Despite Sonia believing Whitney has fled, things get worse when Gray’s manager Laura comes to visit her for a meeting.
Despite everybody trying their best to cover up, Gray is despairing over the latest development, leaving his wife Chantelle eager to try to cheer him up. Unfortunately, Chantelle is soon called to work after Suki arrives, questioning her dedication to her new job.
With strain that for Gray, Chantelle tries her best to help him, but the unfortunate turn of events only serves to make the situation even more stressful. Gray’s rage threatens to bubble up again when he’s unable to get hold of Chantelle and is cut off when he finally does.
To make matters worse, Chantelle discovers that she’s stuck in with Kheerat. How is Gray going to react when he finds out about this? EastEnders airs these scenes on BBC One on Monday, April 27 and Tuesday, April 28.
