EastEnders is likely to see another exit in the coming weeks, as Jasmine Armfield has announced her decision to leave Bex Fowler's role after five years. She may die on a 35th-anniversary special episode in the boat disaster. The departure will see Bex step away after several hard-hitting storylines, including a high school bullish nightmare, depression that led to a suicide attempt, and her concern about Martin Fowler's (James Bye) shady behavior.
She was seen filming alongside Milly Zero, who plays Dotty Cotton on the Thames ferry. Speaking of her departure, Jasmine said, ' I had such a fantastic time playing Bex Fowler, and I loved being part of EastEnders, but now I want to try something new. Jon Sen, the Executive Producer, said: ' It was a pleasure to work with Jasmine.
She's added something incredibly special to Bex's job, and we're all going to miss her, both as a friend and colleague. We wish her a bright future ahead.
