Keegan Baker (Zack Morris) has already been targeted by the police, who have called him over several times without justification due to the color of his skin in EastEnders–and he will be left angry when he becomes a victim of the crime and winds up being arrested. Hopefully, the week begins when Iqra Ahmed (Priya Davdra) tells him that Masood gave them his vehicle, and they can use it for their business Excited, they start putting forward ideas to expand their business.
But when they head home to Keegan and Tiffany (Maisie Smith), they see an intruder running out of their apartment, having burgled the house. Keegan and Tiffany confront him immediately, but during the scuffle, the criminal even takes Tiffany's wedding ring. In the altercation, Keegan is left injured, and as the robber attempts a getaway, the cops turn up, and both Keegan and Tiffany are shocked when he's arrested. Keegan loses absolute faith in the police, he's miserable in the days ahead, and Tiffany and Mitch (Roger Griffiths) struggle to go through it.
But when Keegan comes face-to-face with Jack Branning, he encourages him to have both barrels about the unjust situation and shows that there is institutionalized racism.
Because Keegan is disheartened, Mitch urges him to concentrate on the business and show that people are wrong in their opinion of him. Keegan will be able to move past this when Mitch helps his son with his loan application to expand the business? Or will these wrong things continue to come upon him and leave him to doubt his future? Meanwhile, Tiffany keeps covering post meant for Ted Murray in her bid to keep the flat–but is this only going to invite more trouble from the law?
