EastEnders spoilers: Rocky scams Kathy out of her money in cruel betrayal

In upcoming EastEnders scenes, Tom ‘Rocky’ Cotton’s (Brian Conley) scheming ends in Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) parting with her hard-earned wealth.

During Monday’s (November 22) episode of the BBC One soap, the resident conman is on a mission to extort more money from Peter Beale (Dayle Hudson).

Dotty Cotton (Milly Zero) is reeling from Sandy Gibson’s (Martha Cope) unexpected return, and she tells Rocky to put more pressure on Peter to collect more money for her mother’s treatment.

Peter demonstrates the new Meatless Monday meal to Rocky. Rocky makes an attempt to get him to put more money in, but his argument falls flat because Peter is simply uninterested.

Desperate, Rocky asks Kathy for help in speaking to Peter.

Little does he know, however, that his plan will result in Kathy putting the necessary money in instead!

Rocky’s heart sinks as he realizes he never intended to defraud Kathy, whom he sincerely loves.

He wastes little time in tracking down Dotty, despairing to her over what has transpired.

Sandy, on the other hand, overhears, and Rocky’s presence in the Square prompts him to make a decision, arguing that it’s time to leave. Kathy, on the other hand, unwittingly stops him from leaving the restaurant when she asks for his assistance.

Meanwhile, Peter is curious about the vegetarian meat, so Rocky unwraps a box of meatless burgers, amused that he got them at the cash and carry!

Rocky then goes to the restaurant to keep his word to Kathy, and he’s touched when he walks in on a surprise party for himself. But, unable to live with the guilt, he decides to come clean after all.

He returns to Sonia Fowler’s (Natalie Cassidy) house and writes a letter describing his crimes, but catastrophe strikes when he grabs his chest in pain before dropping on the floor.

Will Rocky be okay? Or will he die? And will Kathy find out about his schemes?
