The world of Sharon Mitchell (Letitia Dean) crashed in EastEnders last week when son Dennis Rickman (Bleu Landau) died during the party boat celebrations. Still, things became much more complicated during tonight's episode, when Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) revealed that the actions of Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) were instrumental in the death of the young boy.

With Keanu (Danny Walters) kidnapping Callum (Tony Clay), Ben (Max Bowden) told Phil about what had happened, trying to get the money he needed to pay the young mechanic. Phil returned to Walford, however, and his desire for revenge ended in an altercation onboard the party boat— which is what eventually caused the crash leading to the death of Dennis.
Naturally, Sharon has struggled to cope with the loss of her beloved Denny— especially considering that she is now having a baby. She was going out for a walk with her newborn baby tonight's episode, but the first thing she saw was a newspaper that described the boat accident.

She went to the garden and sat down on the bench. Karen approached and put out her condolences for what had happened, but as the pair spoke, Karen finally revealed that Phil was responsible for the confusion that occurred on board the boat.
As a result, Sharon came to believe Phil had killed Dennis. She told Karen that before going home, she could have the baby for a few hours the next day. What will this info do for Sharon?
