EastEnders to reveal Whitney Dean’s prison fate after Gray’s latest discovery

EastEnders will reveal the fate of Whitney Dean tonight (March 23), following Gray Atkins ‘ latest discovery. Whitney (Shona McGarty) is currently in jail, awaiting trial on Leo King’s grisly death last month. Viewers know that Whitney killed Leo in self-defense, but the odds are stacked against her, and she was also refused bail in more injustice.

As a result, Whitney went on a troubling hunger strike, which landed her in the hospital after she fell in her cell. With Whitney at the bottom of the hill, she was more distracted to learn the severity of Leo’s weird behavior in her last few weeks of alive. Gray made the incriminating discovery while frantically searching for clues last week, and ensured Whitney that it would help her in the longer term. Sure enough, Whitney’s trying to get another chance at liberation in Monday’s ep, much to the delight of her family. Even when everyone anxiously awaits the result of Whitney’s bail hearing, can justice eventually prevail?

EastEnders was forced to close down filming last week in the amid of the coronavirus crisis. In the time being, the episodes have been cut from four to two a week, to keep the series on the air for as long as possible.
