EMMERDALE viewers see Lucas, a young son of Dawn Taylor, welcomed back into her life this week after she was finally granted his custody. Things were far from smooth sailing however when Lucas made a terrifying discovery in the home of grandfather Will Taylor when he discovered a firearm. Can he end up sabotaging his friendship with Harriet for good if Will's tragic history is further delved into?

ITV viewers saw the blossoming of romance for Will Taylor (played by Dean Andrews) and Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) after the latter decided to allow the former drug dealer to return to her life. The pair were excited to welcome Will's grandson Lucas to the Dales, but after the youth found Will's gun he was hiding, things quickly took a turn. As Harriet raises questions regarding the past of her beloved, could this be the end of things between them?

Will has had a difficult time since moving to the community, as after his breakup with current partner Harriet he has failed to get over to the citizens ' side.

His dodgy past of drug dealing was exposed, as it was revealed that during his earlier marriage to Harriet he was sent to prison.

He is trying to get things back on track but Will posed more problem this week after grandson Lucas found the pistol he was storing in the building.

Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) tries to wrest the gun back but it frightened Harriet who immediately asked whether her husband felt he needed to have a gun.

Speaking of the recent ordeal of his character, Dean Andrews, who plays Will, pointed to further trouble for the couple in the paradise.

Because Harriet is likely to doubt her boyfriend's history more if the reality about his need for the arms comes to light, will he ruin things yet again?

Dean talked favourably of Will's friendship with Harriet, saying: "I think he's looking into the future, so I think he thinks that everything should go as a loving couple would, But fans have now seen Will's darker side, so he's back story shows a lot of hidden things that Harriet's wife will certainly want to get to.

Asked if he thought the recent events were a reminder of his past, Dean explained: "I think when someone who's been part of something as big as that with the kind of people he's been part of, he's trying to get away from it all in a small village in the middle of nowhere.

"But you know, as you do in life, things can come from your past that you really don't want to, so I guess there's always a chance," he added.

Ex-policewoman Harriet is still suspicious of her boyfriend as their relationship could rock.

Dean continued: "Any such great thing can nail any relation, moreover steady it may be. Will has a tendency to keep slipping up a bit. "As more aspects about Will's history come out into the open, might he end up destroying his friendship with both the vicar if he moves very far?

It comes after some viewers have guessed that Harriet might end up sparking a romance with her ex-lover Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) after turning to him earlier this week for assistance.

Harriet offered the pistol to Cain because she wondered how to dispose of it – could the couple rekindle their relationship while she searches for advice on him?

She told him: "I was so stupid I can't believe. I put my confidence[ Will] in him and now I don't know what to do.

"That is Will. He is paranoid, he believes that people are out to get him. I have tried to reason with him but my family runs the risk of falling apart.

"I need you to rid myself of this. I know no one else to turn to, "she pleaded.

However, after mistaking him for the rustlers at Moira Barton's (Natalie J Robb) farm, Cain decided to take matters into his own hands and used the gun to shoot Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter).

With concerns lingering as to why Will specifically had the weapons, is he in danger of losing everything for good as the truth emerges?
