Charley Webb has clarified her future on the soap, playing Debbie Dingle in Emmerdale.

Charley spoke at the Infalata Nation Peterborough launch last month, and it was reported in The Sun that the actress said: "I'm on maternity leave at the moment. It's been good, but three kids are a different ball game.' It was entertaining, but there are no plans for me to come back at the moment.' Charley has now clarified what she meant after reports suggested she wasn't returning.
In a Good Interview! She was asked about her return to the soap, but she replied I have no plans for returning at the moment.

Charley replied: "It's been taken out of context." What I meant that there's no set return date yet. Emmerdale contacted me, and we spoke, but I did not confirm anything. "I have no plans to leave the show, but I could take a little longer than a year off." Charley's alter ego decided to move to Scotland last year to run a shop that had been left to her by family member Lisa Dingle.
Despite protests from her mum Charity and dad Cain, Debbie decided to move with her son Jack, but her daughter Sarah remained determined to stay in the village. When Debbie left the town, Charley gave birth to her third son, Ace.

Charley, who is married to Emmerdale's David Metcalfe star Matthew Wolfenden, has three children, nine-year-old Buster, four-year-old Bowie, and Ace, who is almost seven months old. The actress has recently revealed that she's getting help with sleep problems. The couple has also admitted that they want more kids. Would you like to see Debbie going back to the village soon?
