In the famous Aussie soap, Home and Away, Annabelle Stephenson is set to a star. The 32-year-old actress was confirmed on Saturday to join the hit show next month

Supporters will certainly be excited to learn that the Revenge star is scheduled to debut as his on-screen friend, Taylor Rosetta, along with his returning son, Luke Jacobz, 39.

Annabelle is delighted to be back on Aussie soil after having worked on numerous projects in Hollywood, most notably the hit US drama Revenge.
‘This is the spirit of the Aussie, it is so accommodating,’ she told Daily Telegraph.

‘(In America) a giant manufacturing corporation exists and the hierarchy behind it is quite a number. You are just coming in, doing your work and heading out.’

Annabelle reveals she had nearly missed out on the prestigious role in Home and Away, because her first audition tape wasn’t going to schedule.

And viewers are eager to see her soon-to-be TV hubby, Luke Jacobz, coming back to Summer Bay.

The star reprises his appearance as police officer Angelo Rosetta, who returns to the Bay to look into the murder of Bella ‘s father Ross Nixon.

Luke revealed his return to Home and Away earlier this year, almost a decade after leaving the series in June 2011.

He told The Sunday Telegraph that he was approached by Channel Seven producers in January, asking him to reprise his part.

‘[Channel Seven executives] called me in and asked, “Why do you see Angelo returning to the bay? “the actor said.

‘I said “pretty good”-and it was almost suddenly, “okay, let’s find a shave, a fitting wardrobe and look at some scripts,” he enthused.

The Logie award-winning star has kept busy with a variety of high-profile hosting roles since leaving Summer Bay, including The X-Factor and Instant Hotel. As the winner of the 2008 season of Dancing With The Stars, he has danced his way into Australia’s hearts and made a stint in the jungle on I am a Celebrity … For 2019. He presented The Proposal most recently but the series struggled to win over viewers.
