Rebecca plays FBI Agent Clarice Starling, a character previously played by Jodie Foster in Silence of the Lambs in 1991 and Julianne Moore in Hannibal in 2001.
Taking to Twitter after the news broke, Rebecca expressed her enthusiasm by writing "Thank you for the role of a lifetime. Maybe I won myself a nice glass of Chianti…" Rebecca had previously played Ruby Buckton on Home and Away from 2008 to 2012 and met her now-husband, Luke Mitchell, on the soap screen.

Luke also enjoyed his own success, with roles in S.H.I.E.L.D Agents, Blindspot and The Code.
Last April Luke, speaking to TV Week, credited his wife as the key to his international success.
" I wouldn't believe if it wasn't for Bec I might have done how much I did abroad," Luke said, adding, " I'm a fortunate guy."

Rebecca and Luke started dating in 2009 before the actor raised the topic in 2012.
The pair later tied the knot in a spectacular ceremony held in Kangaroo Valley in New South Wales in 2013.
" What helps make it so special is another element of Home And Away," Luke told TV Week of meeting Rebecca on set.
" We certainly spent most of our friendship on the show, and we were engaged when I finally finished, and then we got engaged, and instead, we moved abroad."
