According to news, Aussie actress Rebecca Breeds secured the lead role in the new spin-off pilot The Shawshank redemption-and she's thrilled.

Who are the types, Rebecca?
Owing to her appearance on Home and Away, the Aussie actress Rebecca Breeds has become a household name. Between 2008 and 2012 the star played Ruby Buckton in the series. She marriedher co-star Home and Away Luke Mitchell, who played Romeo Smith on the show in 2013.
Breeds left for Hollywood after leaving the series and has since starred on hit US TV shows The Originals and Pretty Little Liars.

Rebecca Breeds will play the lead role of FBI agent Clarice Starling in the spin-off drama, Clarice. The role was famous in the 1991 psychological thriller by Jodie Foster.
Clarice was played by actress Julianne Moore in the direct sequel to the film Hannibal which was released in 2001 and set 10 years after the original film.

Clarice will be set in 1993, one year after the events that unfolded in the film The Silence of the Lambs, according to Deadline. The sequel will follow the personal life of Clarice rarely explored in the film as she tries to track down serial killers and sexual predators in Washington, D.C..
