Leah (Ada Nicodemou) was finally confirmed by the police, but when her sinister captor ordered her to say that she had chosen to leave the Bay, she had abandoned her case. Frustrated Justin (James Stewart) can’t believe they’re simply giving up on a woman who suddenly left her life behind for no reason whatsoever.
When Justin locates Leah’s house, he jumps in his car and drives off to meet her. But he’s stunned to find Leah herself running out in front of his car – in a wedding dress, no less.
Once the police have learned that Leah have not left the Bay by choice, they’re going to close in on the Douglas (Adam Booth).
Colby (Tim Franklin) and Murray (John-Paul Jory) are going to his house to find all the proof they may want – but Douglas is nowhere to be found. As Colby reaches the bedroom, Douglas leaps out of the cupboard and stabs a sharp object in his leg. Colby collapses to the ground in extreme pain, and Colby runs to the ambulance while the police arrest Douglas.
The medical staff can’t work out why Colby is in so much pain– but then Alex (Zoe Ventoura) knows that he must have cut the artery. To relieve the pain, she must cut his leg while he’s already conscious of it, and then rush it to surgery. Dean (Patrick O’Connor) and Bella (Courtney Miller) have no choice but to watch as he cries in agony – Alex warns them that he may lose his leg.
