Our first glance at Heather, a new character on Home and Away, has increased the suspense around Marilyn’s huge bombshell.

To view the entire promo, scroll down.

In a recent television show advertisement that played during the break for the Commonwealth Games, Marilyn Chambers (Emily Symons) was shown receiving a mysterious letter with a picture of a newborn infant and the words “Guess who?” scribbled on the back.

In our prior story, we hypothesised about what this might imply: is Marilyn’s baby Byron indeed still alive, or could Maz have had a child while travelling abroad so frequently over the past few decades? Or perhaps a stranger plot with someone trying to con her is in store?

Our understanding of Marilyn’s enigma has now been expanded thanks to a fresh promo.

We get our first glance at Heather, as portrayed by Sofia Nolan, in the trailer. Sofia, who has previously been in Drop Dead Weird, Kiki and Kitty, and most recently in RFDS: Royal Flying Doctor Service as Taylor Emerson, is about to upend a number of different worlds when she arrives in Summer Bay.

While Maz may try to appear innocent, it appears that she is aware of Heather’s identity just as well as Marilyn’s.

As Heather and Roo (Georgie Parker) sit down at the diner, we observe the couple interacting. It would seem safe to assume that Heather is Roo’s first student in her new position as a private tutor, but did she employ Roo for her teaching abilities or merely as a means of gaining access to Marilyn?

Marilyn inquires to Heather, “Have we met before?” “I don’t think so, no,” a slightly uneasy-looking Maz responds.

Heather then clarifies that there is more to this story.

She smiles wryly and says, “How bizarre. I’m not sure what it is about you that’s so familiar to me.

Then, with a terrified expression on her face, Marilyn is seen in the diner kitchen. Has she finally been confronted by her past?

Although it’s unclear from the promo whether these things happen before or after Marilyn’s mysterious letter, it’s almost certain that the two things are connected. Heather might be Marilyn’s unborn child.

Because Kawakawa Fox-Reo, who plays Nikau, and Sofia had been spotted filming frequently, some fans thought that Heather and Nikau might start dating after Bella left.

It appears that the fans were correct because the promo shows the couple first meeting at the beach, getting close, and then finally kissing.

Heather approaches Nik, who is serving as a lifeguard on the beach, and they make eye contact for the first time.

She introduces herself as Heather in a different moment.

They get along right away and become close.

At the campground, we observe the couple conversing in front of a campfire while they are covered by a blanket.

When Roo sees Nik with another female so soon after breaking up with Bella, she remarks, “That’s new” (Courtney Miller).

Marilyn again has a worried expression on her face; she doesn’t like running into this newcomer around.

Later on in the advertisement, the young couple kisses. It appears that Nikau is now prepared to move on and find a new partner.

It appears like Heather might stay given the potential for romance. It’s unclear exactly how much difficulty she’ll cause Maz.

Near the end of the year, newcomer Heather is also expected to have a significant storyline involving Cash.

Nicholas Cartwright initially disclosed Sofia’s character name as Heather in an interview with CelebTime earlier this year. He also said that “[Cash is] going to film a significant storyline with her soon.”

The “Home is where love is” promotional video also shows a number of different characters who are content.

After numerous failed efforts, Dean (Patrick O’Connor) and Ziggy (Sophie Dillman) ultimately set out on a road trip together.

Dean suggests, a surfboard attached to the top of his car, “Run away with me.” Ziggy hollers, “Let’s go!” as we see the eager couple fasten their seatbelts.

Could their trip be what motivates them to take the next step in their relationship? As Ziggy becomes pregnant, we are aware that the couple has a significant narrative coming up.

As he joins them for a party at their new home, the promo also reveals Justin (James Stewart) developing a close relationship with the Lyrik band members.

After band member Remi (Adam Rowlands) spent all of their cash purchasing a shady van, Justin is scheduled to provide the band with funding later this week.

Justin will join Felicity (Jacqui Purvis), Tane (Ethan Browne), Nikau, Theo (Matt Evans), and the band’s founding members Remi, Kirby (Angelina Thomson), and Eden (Stephanie Panozzo) for drinks and a jam session on the veranda as a gesture that would make him a part of their extended family.

Even better, he gets to demonstrate his own guitar prowess while playing along with Leah, his adoring lover (Ada Nicodemou).

Theo and Kirby can be seen exchanging longing looks in the promo.

Recently, the two shared a kiss, but Remi and Eden, Kirby’s previous bandmates Bob (Rob Mallett), and Eden soon broke things off by forbidding interpersonal connections among band members.

Will they succumb to temptation in the upcoming weeks once more?

Additionally, we witness Cash’s struggle after finding out that he killed gang member Marty (Ben Wood).

He admitted that he’s having trouble accepting what he did to new doctor Bree (Juliet Godwin) in the most recent Australian episode. “I caused the death of a man. How am I supposed to handle that?

Concerned about her brother’s deteriorating mental health, Flick laments, “My brother is fading in front of my eyes.”

She comforts him by saying, “Remember, I love you.” Will his recovery be aided by her love?

After the current turmoil, Rose (Kirsty Marillier) is also having trouble, considering it was her plot that led to Cash being shot.

On the sand, she gives her half-brother Xander (Luke Van Os) a hug, and in upcoming episodes, Rose considers leaving Summer Bay.

The video also gives us our first look at Dr. Bree Cameron as she enjoys a surf in Summer Bay after leaving Northern Districts Hospital.

Bree has a backstory and tale of her own that fans will witness unfold over the next few months. Like many new faces in the Bay, she is more than meets the eye.

In an interview with TV Week about her acting debut, Juliet Godwin characterised Bree as a “laidback, compassionate doctor who loves a laugh,” but she also made a few hints about her past by saying that Bree was “in need of a fresh start” and that she jumped at the chance to apply for the job opening at the emergency room of Northern Districts Hospital.
