Kate Ritchie, a former performer of Home and Away, has stated that she would “absolutely” be interested in going back to Summer Bay.

In the very first episode of Home and Away in 1988, Ritchie made her acting debut as Sally Fletcher. She played the part for 20 years before departing in 2008 to pursue a career in radio.

However, the former soap star stated that she would go back to the Bay if the correct individual asked her to during her new radio gig with Ryan Fitzy and Michael Wippa.

Ritchie responded, “Absolutely,” when Fitzy questioned whether she would perform one final performance if Home and Away “wrapped up” the soap opera similarly to Neighbours.

The radio host then declared that she would only come back if Ray Meagher, who has played Alf Stewart on Home and Away since the very first show, asked her to.

She claimed that, regardless of how old she was, she would be there immediately if Ray Meagher requested her to return and change the sheets in the campground.

Ritchie previously acknowledged that she would adore to get back into performing, comparing it to an ex-lover who still holds a small piece of her heart. I do anticipate [returning to performing] in the future, and I would like to believe that many other decision-makers do as well.
