The holiday season of Home And Away is shaping up to be rather dramatic.

Before its annual six-week vacation from UK screens at the end of the year, the Australian series will leave Channel 5 viewers on a huge cliffhanger as someone attempts to murder Tane Parata.

Tane (Ethan Browne) is found dead at the gym after an unknown suspect releases a deadly poison. The toxin, however, causes chaos at Martha Stewart’s (Belinda Giblin) mental health event next door when it hits the air vents.

While UK fans will have to wait until the season finale in November to decide who did it, Australian viewers were given to these moments this week, and the current teaser offers us a taste of what’s to come.

Paramedics resuscitate Tane, who is still comatose. As he is being carried out, he is seen flatlining. Is he going to make it?

Felicity is the major suspect (Jacqui Purvis). She was recently accused of stalking Tane after a brief relationship, but viewers have yet to see any proof that it was actually her.

Her brother Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) tells her about the seriousness of the situation and that she’ll need to come up with a strong alibi.

Felicity, on the other hand, does not want to reveal what she was doing that night to the cops investigating the crime, so she asks a friend to lie and provide her with an alibi.

Cash, on the other hand, is divided between his police duty and his allegiance to his sister, but when his lover Jasmine confronts him, it appears that he, too, is questioning Felicity.

Is Felicity fabricating everything? Is she going to be identified as Tane’s stalker? Is the real assailant going to be allowed off the hook?
