After a six-week vacation for Christmas, the Australian soap opera is back, and Justin Morgan (James Stewart) is concerned about the whereabouts of his love Leah Patterson (Ada Nicodemou) and his family friends.
As a result, Justin informs Cash and Rose at the police station of his fears that the unstable Heather may be somehow involved.
Cash and Rose conduct some investigation before coming to an SURPRISE conclusion that makes them think Heather might be a MURDERER…
At a remote manor, Heather is still holding prisoner her long-lost mother Marilyn Chambers (Emily Symons), Irene Roberts (Lynne McGranger), Roo Stewart (Georgie Parker), and her father Alf (Ray Meagher).
Because Marilyn abandoned her so many years ago, Heather is determined to exact revenge on her.
However, Alf’s situation isn’t looking good as he has trouble breathing after his drink was drugged.
Police sirens, nevertheless, suggest that assistance is on the way.
Heather leads a horrified Marilyn up onto the roof of the home as Cash and Rose arrive on the site and learn about the SHOCK hostage scenario.
On the rooftop, there is a tense standoff as Cash pursues the suspect.
Suddenly, SOMEONE goes off the cliff after slipping…
