Is Justin too late to save Ava?

Ava Gilbert, the daughter of Justin Morgan (James Stewart) and Leah Patterson (Annabel Wolfe), caused a gap in their relationship last week on Home and Away, shocking viewers (Ada Nicodemou). The television program has been hinting at dramatic scenarios in the impending “blockbuster week,” including Ava’s possible kidnapping.

Ava has been outspoken about her obsession with Theo Poulos (Matt Evans), and Roo Stewart (Georgie Parker) even came across seductive pictures of the teen in Theo’s shirt. Ava took a ride in a van with a stranger after Theo had stopped pursuing her.

The most recent advertisements depict a furious Justin looking urgently for his teenage daughter. Justin loses his cool when Theo apologizes for pushing Ava away.

I don’t want to hear it, he shouts. I don’t have time to comfort you since my kid is someplace in a van with who knows.

In a terrifying scenario, the threatening guy is seen driving his van before the camera pans down to show Ava’s phone on the passenger seat.

As the pair scour Summer Bay for Ava, with Justin swiftly reporting her disappearance to the police, will they find her in time? Or is it too late?

Disaster comes to Summer Bay

According to episode guides, Tane Parata (Ethan Browne) and Felicity Newman (Jacqui Purvis) are soon to wed after their previous attempt at marriage was horribly derailed by a bikie group seeking retribution.

Felicity is pictured in a lovely white gown walking down the aisle with her brother Cash Newman (Nicholas Cartwright) in one of the network’s “blockbuster week” advertisements. There is a brief view of the bride having fun at the wedding reception while the band Lyrik is playing live on stage.

She says, “To the best day of my life,” to applause.

The brief wedding preview is interrupted by the sound of police sirens, followed by the appearance of several Summer Bay inhabitants in perilous circumstances.

Theo is astounded as he conducts formal police work, Rose Delaney (Kirsty Marillier) displays shock, and Mackenzie Booth (Emily Weir) tears while sitting on the floor in her home.

Another man, who might be Ava’s kidnapper, is seen being physically assaulted by Justin in what appears to be a fit of wrath.

Ultimately, while doing his duties as a paramedic, Xander Delaney (Luke Van Os) is encircled by guys with crowbars and baseball bats.

“Okay guys, we don’t want any trouble,” he says, as they walk closer.

Is Xander’s life at stake?
