Felicity struggles as the anniversary of her father’s death approach next week on Home and Away in the UK, while Alf finally persuades Marilyn to get assistance…

Felicity Newman (Jacqui Purvis) has had a rough few weeks when her best friend Anne Sherman falsely accused her of stalking and attempting to murder Tane Parata (Ethan Browne) (Megan Smart).

Tane and Flick were both kidnapped by Anne in an attempt to exact a final act of vengeance, but their respective brothers, Ari (Rob Kipa-Williams) and Cash saved them just in time (Nicholas Cartwright).

Tane and Flick’s relationship had been difficult for months during the stalking campaign, culminating in Flick being compelled to take out an AVO on Tane, but the horrible chemical assault at Salt convinced Tane that Flick couldn’t be the perpetrator.

Tane followed Anne to a distant cottage in the bush, only to be kidnapped with her because of his worry for a missing Flick, who was widely considered to have fled the bay as the police issued a warrant for her arrest.

Given that Felicity’s relationship with her brother has suffered as a result of the event, and given that Cash has long suspected her of being guilty, Flick has turned to Tane for assistance. Despite swiftly reverting to their friends-with-benefits status, passion has begun to grow between the two.

Cash was first displeased with Tane and Flick’s rekindled friendship but later realized that it was beneficial for Flick to have someone to talk to about her ordeal. He understands from her past that keeping things bottled up might lead to significant problems for her.

Although Flick’s icy feelings against Cash have begun to soften, she returns to avoid him at all costs this week, but for a completely different reason. Cash explains to Jasmine that it’s because their father’s death anniversary is approaching.

Anthony, their father, committed suicide in 2006, and Cash, then 12, discovered his father’s body on the family property. Anthony had already been widowed a few years before, and when their farm was hit badly by a drought, putting him in a lot of debt, he took his own life.

Flick, on the other hand, has always claimed that their father would never abandon them voluntarily and that he was murdered.

Cash tells Jasmine that he goes back to his former hometown every year to visit Anthony’s cemetery, where he meets together with his foster family and other friends to remember his life. Flick has always refused to visit the grave and hasn’t done so since the burial.

Tane eventually persuades Flick to meet with Cash after noticing that she is ignoring her brother’s calls and appears to be continuously on edge.

Cash tries to persuade his sister that going to the grave can help her put the past behind her, but she flatly refuses—as far as she’s concerned, she already knows the truth about what occurred and doesn’t need to face anything.

Knowing that Flick has trouble at this time of year and generally flees, Cash asks Jasmine (Sam Frost) to keep an eye on her while he’s gone.

Later, Jasmine speaks with Flick about her own anxieties about visiting Robbo’s cemetery and how doing so brought her a great deal of relief.

Jasmine eventually backs down and makes a proposal to Cash after telling Flick that Cash could really use her help so he can move forward on his own.

She agrees to accompany him on the condition that he begin an investigation into their father’s death.

Cash realizes it’s a waste of time, but will he cave into his sister’s demands for justice?

Marilyn (Emily Symons) eventually realizes that she needs to seek therapy for her mental health once Alf (Ray Meagher) returns to Summer Bay.

Marilyn’s acquaintances have been taken aback by her sudden shift in demeanor, which occurred after she awoke from an artificial coma that Logan (Harley Bonner) was forced to place her in when paralysis gripped her body.

Marilyn left an impassioned voicemail for Alf, telling him how afraid she was because she felt her loved ones were turning against her and siding with Logan, whom she had filed an official complaint against.

Alf arrives in Summer Bay this week and immediately inquires about the message. She, on the other hand, dismisses it as a blip on the radar before asserting that she is OK now.

The next day at the diner, Alf is surprised to discover that Marilyn is no longer employed there, and he immediately chastises Irene (Lynne McGranger) for “letting her go”—until she points out that she had little say in the matter.

Alf believes Irene is exaggerating her feelings about Marilyn until he hears her words about Logan firsthand.

Alf tries to reach out to Marilyn after hearing the whole tale from Irene, but she thinks he’s turned against her as well. His attempt to bring Logan to the house to persuade her to see a mental health specialist is initially rebuffed, but Alf eventually persuades her to listen to him out.

Logan explains that he’s scheduled Marilyn’s appointment with the university’s head of psychiatry, who claims that the psychological effects of organophosphate poisoning are so subtle that the victim may not even realize they’re sick—to the point where they believe their loved ones are lying to them when they say something’s wrong.

Marilyn mulls it over, but when Roo (Georgie Parker) arrives the next day and Marilyn overhears her and Alf discussing Martha’s need for a kidney transplant, she makes up her mind.

Marilyn had no idea things had gotten this bad, and Alf says that he didn’t want to bother her when she was dealing with her own problems.

She admits that if Alf is prepared to forgo time with Martha in order to return home and help her, then perhaps her friends are correct, and something is amiss….

Is the Marilyn we all know and love going to make a comeback as she travels off for treatment?
