Jacqui Purvis’ character Felicity (who has been acting worse and worse lately) has been suffering from PTSD ever since the accident. She has been drinking excessively, and the issue got even worse when she cancelled Lyrik’s live performance in Salt.
Emily Weir’s character, Mackenzie, is compelled to choose between looking out for Felicity and safeguarding their business. Although Gabe (Akos Armont) is not at all impressed, Mackenzie is aware of how poorly her friend is feeling. She now has to accept the fact that she cannot rely on her business partner.
Tane (Ethan Browne), in the meantime, is concerned about his fiance after hearing about her intoxicated behaviour in the restaurant. He shows up at the campground with the intention of making a connection, but Felicity finds his presence inconvenient. Can’t he respect her need for privacy?
As Felicity begins to believe that her friends are her adversaries, her denial of her drinking only deepens. Tane doggedly waits for her while she takes a shower and tries to talk to her despite her best efforts to shake him off.
Tane turns Felicity towards him and tells her that he loves her as he follows her around the campground.
Felicity, however, is unwilling to face reality or seek support from her loved ones. She declares their love is finished by removing her engagement ring and throwing it at Tane. Tane is devastated—is this it?
