James Stewart, who starred in Home and Away, has given his on-screen daughter Annabel Wolfe a heartfelt tribute.

As the new Ava Gilbert, Annabel has already made an unsettling impression on Australian audiences in scenes where her obsession with Theo results in her father Justin Morgan’s dramatic arrest.

Grace Thomas and Alice Roberts, who previously portrayed the troubled character in a protracted run from 2016 to 2020, were replaced by Wolfe in the part.

After seeing the dramatic scenes she debuted in, James Stewart, who portrays Justin, gave tribute to the new Home and Away cast member.

I’m thrilled that @annabelwolfe will portray my daughter, and… She’s a phenomenal young actress with such a promising future, he added.

She brings such a positive energy to our ensemble and to the set because she is thoughtful, intelligent, and always listening. She is causing the necessary turbulence in this tale and proving to be a little challenging for Justin. Dads and their children, eh?,” I groan.

After making cameo or supporting appearances in the Australian comedy Diary of an Uber Driver and the murder mystery Black Snow starring Vikings actor Travis Fimmel, this will be Annabel Wolfe’s breakthrough part.

Her dramatic entrance as Ava will soon be seen on British television as the adolescent seduces Theo to a private meeting by pretending to be imprisoned.

Justin turns up instead and when he tries to take his revenge, Cash Newman and Rose Delaney are forced to step in and arrest him.
