In a new storyline, Tane Parata from Home and Away must make a significant choice as Felicity Newman works to revive their wedding preparations.
An enormous car crash caused by some covert sabotage by Summer Bay’s biker group ruined Tane and Felicity’s first wedding day.
Felicity was being driven to the ceremony by maid of honor Eden Fowler when she discovered that she was unable to stop because the car had been intentionally damaged.
Felicity didn’t make it down the aisle after the chaotic events of the day, but everyone weathered the incident. After disagreements over how she was using alcohol to deal with her troubling feelings, she later terminated her relationship with Tane.
Felicity changed her mind as she made an emotional plea to Tane in earlier this week’s episodes of the program that were filmed at an Australian pace.
Felicity was happy when Tane agreed to join her while she was taking some time off in her old home town to unwind.
Tane was questioned by Felicity about their connection. He agreed to remain with her to see how things turned out, despite Tane’s reminder that they still had a lot to work through in the wake of their recent trust breakdown.
They’ve had enough talking, according to Felicity, and are prepared to return to routine in the Channel 7 episodes airing the following week.
She will also return to reside at the Parata house after packing up her final belongings from the campground.
However, when it becomes apparent that Felicity is also eager for the wedding to be rescheduled, more problems could be in store.
Tane is popped the question by Felicity, but he appears uneasy. Even after everything they’ve been through, does Tane still desire the same degree of dedication?
Felicity’s actor, Jacqui Purvis, recently voiced optimism that Tane and Felicity would eventually walk down the aisle together.
I really do [hope that happens], just because I believe Tane and Flick are such a good match, she said to Digital Spy. They enhance one another’s finest qualities. They improve one another’s lives.
They also challenge one another, which is crucial in a partnership. I believe they make a great couple and would adore to see them exchange vows.
