There are a variety of reasons why this testament can be ruled legitimate or invalid, including the fact that parents aren’t always delighted with whom their child chooses to date.

Lynne McGranger, on the other hand, does not belong in this camp because she is a staunch supporter of her daughter Clancy McWaters‘ boyfriend, Luke.

The Home and Away actress expressed her appreciation for the couple by leaving a kind comment on Clancy’s recent Instagram image.

Clancy and Luke paid a visit to the Corowa Whisky and Chocolate distillery last weekend, just as the Covid-19 limitations kicked in.

She had posted a cute picture of herself and Luke sitting on a couch under the Corowa sign, and she captioned the moment, “Weekend gets away with my love, should have stayed put. .”

Like every supportive mum ever, Lynne commented almost straight after Clancy hit the post.

Clearly, in awe of her daughter and her beau, she wrote, “How gorgeous. Those gene pools are something else .”

The amusing remark is a wonderful little tribute back to Lynne, who had evidently collaborated with her partner, Paul McWaters, on one side of the gene pool.

Lynne’s character on Home and Away had a tumultuous connection with parenthood throughout the years, yet she enjoys a close relationship with her daughter in real life.

The performer told Sydney Confidential in 2015 that her lookalike daughter has followed in her footsteps in the performing arts department and that she has always had a flair for theatrics.

“She is a triple threat, she sings, dances, and acts, at the moment she seems to be leaning toward more singing and dancing,” Lynne told the publication.

We were surprised when Clancy announced at the age of 15 or 16 that she wanted to study drama. But we are very happy for her and support them all the way.”

Lynne’s 30-year-old daughter has even appeared on Home and Away as an extra over the years.

Clancy is currently working as a yoga and pilates instructor in Sydney.
