In this week’s episode of Neighbours, one turns up uninvited and causes mayhem, while the other has a violent outburst that leaves the Ramsay Street residents stunned and terrified.

Jane (Annie Jones) is the mother who is baffled as to why her daughter abandoned her child and refused to return home. She’s worried, wounded, and unsure about what to do next. Just one more thing is going to be enough to shatter her – and it’s about to happen.

The other issue for Mum is Levi’s (Richie Morris), which is a major concern because she is unaware of her son’s polyamory and would not approve. With his mother there, his love triangle is set to dissolve quickly.

Sheila (Colette Mann) learns she has unwittingly created an adversary, one who is destined to cause her a lot of trouble. Will she be able to make apologies before causing a breach in her family?

Melanie (Lucinda Cowden) is on the verge of losing her guy to Rose (Lucy Durak), who is hellbent on getting what she wants (AKA Toadie), but she’s also going to suffer a severe injury as a result of a prank gone bad. Will she be able to make it?

On this week’s episode of Neighbours, here’s what to expect.

The polyamorous triad gets thrown off by a surprise guest

Just as Levi is getting his mind around the notion of sharing his girlfriend, his conservative mother arrives up unannounced and throws a wrench in the works. The threesome had planned to attend Amy’s launch party together, but with Evelyn in town, they’ll have to put their romance on hold so Levi can appear to be the angel son his mother believes he is. But, as his emotions for Amy become stronger, Evelyn must decide whether or not to disavow her son.

Sheila has a new beef

Sheila and Evelyn appear to be having some problems, which Sheila is unaware of. Evelyn can’t stand looking at the women, and Sheila is disturbed by Evelyn’s unusual behavior toward her. She approaches Evelyn after deciding that enough is enough, only for Evelyn to give her the entire score of what a horrible human she was in the past. Sheila had no idea and is hoping to move on, but Evelyn isn’t having it. The wounds on my body are far too deep. Sheila believes it’s a lost cause, but when she observes Levi avoiding Amy now that his mother is here, she realises she has to do everything she can to keep this lady close, even if Evelyn couldn’t stand breathing the same air.

Harlow makes a complete feast out of it

Paul notices Harlow is about to leave Lassisters and, in an unexpected move, develops a position specifically for her to keep her in place. She is enthralled by the idea of the new position, which is well beyond her capabilities and even surpasses Chloe’s, which naturally irritates Chloe. Harlow and Chloe have a verbal spat over it, and Harlow, as Chloe’s supervisor, corrects her. But Chloe isn’t the only one who doubts Harlow’s abilities; Terese does as well. Harlow has taken on more than she can handle, and others around her are waiting for her to crumble.

Jane reaches her limit

Jane and violent aren’t terms you’d expect to see in the same sentence, but they’ll appear together this week on Neighbours. Jane makes vows to her loved ones that she would stop seeking Nicolette, but she can’t seem to let go. She’s heartbroken and perplexed that her daughter has left her forever. Chloe recognizes that she is struggling and goes to Clive for assistance, but her assistance pushes Jane over the edge. She snaps, letting all of her rages out. Jane’s forceful side, even a little bit scared, surprises Hendrix.

Who’d have guessed she had it in her? Chloe speaks with him about what he witnessed, and he chooses to keep it a secret from Susan, but Jane is far too honest for her own good and spills the beans. Will she get fired as a result of her violent outburst?

Mel is in the hospital after a terrifying accident

Melanie is suspected of vandalizing Rose’s car, which is all part of Rose’s plot to crawl her way back into Toadie’s life by throwing Mel under the bus. Mel vehemently defends herself, but does Toadie believe his girlfriend’s word or the evidence? Rose is delighted that Toadie is warming to her return, and as a joke, she pulls a trick on him. It goes better than planned when he decides to retaliate, and the two become embroiled in a hilarious prank battle.

But things go horribly wrong when Mel is caught up in a prank and suffers a serious injury that necessitates hospitalization. Toadie is in pain, but he is also torn in his mind. His fiancée requires his attention, but when the event presents a major problem for the Film Festival, Rose seeks his legal advice and manages to keep him near. Who will he pick?

In a love triangle, will Levi be the loser?

Following the incident at the party, Levi feels bereft for not being at Amy’s side. She’s heartbroken, and Ned is the only person she can weep on. Levi is feeling pushed out and is concerned that his relationship is deteriorating. Will he be able to keep his stiff upper lip around Evelyn and not reveal that he’s in a relationship she won’t approve of, or will his resolve shatter when he realizes he’s about to lose his woman?

Scenes will begin airing on Channel 5 on Monday, September 13th.
