EastEnders actress Jacqueline Jossa has meltdown her fans after she announced a comeback for famous character Lauren Branning, who departed the soap back in 2018. Following the horrific death of her younger sister Abi Branning, the EastEnders cast member left the soap after both plummeted off the Queen Vic's roof while attempting to talk their father Max down from a suicide attempt.

Between 2010 and 2018, Jacqueline was on the soap, and it looks like she will soon be going back to the soap.
The actress has indicated she's open to reprising Lauren's role as she talked to her fans during a Q&A session on her Instagram story.
When asked if she would play Lauren again, she replied: "Maybe one day. She's not yet dead." Fans took to social media to express their excitement about the news, as one posted: "Omg imagine if Jacqueline returned to EastEnders! It would be the best thing to do in years!" Another added: "Jac Jossa returning to EastEnders will make my year!

One added: "Jac Jossa will make my year by returning to EastEnders! Oh, my goodness!" A third said to her: "Will love to see you back on Albert Square, gal. Hasn't it been the same since you left!" But with Jacqueline mentioning Lauren's death, will she come back to the soap only to kill the beloved character?
In her time on the show, Lauren faced several dangerous situations, most notably falling off the roof of the pub, with Jacqueline filming the scenes while pregnant with her second daughter Mia.

Speculation about her return hit a fever pitch when last month, her ex Peter Beale, now played by Dayle Hudson, returned to the soap. Lauren had left Albert Square to be with Peter and their son Louis, skipping the funeral of her sister in a poignant farewell.
Will she come back to reunite with Peter in Walford?
