Johnny Ruffo, the former star of Home and Away, has shed new light on what it takes to fight brain cancer.

“Another round of radiation on the cards,” the actor and musician wrote on Facebook, referring to his current treatment of radiation.

One photo shows him wearing a frightening-looking radiation mask, while another shows the radiation room’s entrance.

“Still fighting this mofo!,” Johnny wrote.

“F*** cancer.”

Fans raced to the comments area of Johnny’s Instagram post, where he shared the same photographs.

“Sending you so much love Johnny,” Home and Away actress Emily Symons wrote.

“Love to you, mate,” Georgie Parker added.

“You’ve got this!,” PR queen Roxy Jacenko wrote in encouragement.

“You’re such a strong incredible person. Sending love & energy your way,” Tania Zaetta added.

In the comments, Tahnee Sims wrote a simple red love heart emoji.

Johnny’s prior Valentine’s Day social media message was a touching tribute to his girlfriend.

“Happy Valentine’s day to this beautiful lady,” he wrote, sharing a photo of the couple laughing together in fluffy hotel bathrobes.

“Thank you for the laughs, thank you for taking care of me, but most of all, thank you for being you xxxxxx.”

After his brain cancer reappeared in late 2020, Johnny gave his followers regular social media updates on his second health battle.

“After an unexpected week of seizures and excruciating headaches it is with a heavy heart that I have to let you know I now have another huge battle ahead of me as my brain cancer has returned,” he wrote after his diagnosis.

“Though I will dig deep and beat this s**t disease again.”
