According to Emmerdale spoilers, Liv Flaherty and Vinny Dingle intend to marry in secret.
The recently engaged couple plots to flee the country and marry secretly, but will their amorous schemes backfire?
What are Liv and Vinny planning?
Liv and Vinny haven’t told their families everything about their engagement, which happened on Valentine’s Day by accident.
But Liv is ecstatic when Vinny tells her that he has a buddy in Daventry who is a registrar and prepared to break the regulations to allow them to marry.
And the couple plot to head off to Northamptonshire to tie the knot in secret.
Cold feet?
When their wedding rings arrive, however, Vinny and Liv are both concerned about how their families would react to the news.
Mandy gets the wrong end of the stick
They make jokes about Vinny’s mother, Mandy, and how she could respond if she learns that her darling son has said his vows without her presence.
Despite their laughter, it’s evident that Vinny and Liv are worried about spending their wedding day alone.
Liv is overjoyed when Vinny tells her that they can get married the next day if she wants.
However, they both feel bad about keeping their families in the dark and consider changing their plans.
When Chas and Mandy arrive and catch a portion of their talk, they presume Liv is back on the booze and anticipate the worst.
When Paddy arrives, things turn dramatic in true Dingle form, leaving Liv and Vinny certain that eloping is, after all, the best option.
Runaway bride?
The bride and groom pack their belongings and make their way to Daventry for their surprise wedding.
When they arrive, though, Vinny pulls out his phone and discovers a slew of missed calls from a concerned Mandy, who’s realized they’ve gotten lost.
Will Liv and Vinny be able to carry out their impromptu wedding? Or will they change their minds?
