LUCY FALLON revealed her last day on the long-running soap set of Coronation Street was far from easy, after a nightmare incident and crying too much.

The 24-year-old Lucy Fallon from Coronation Street has officially left the longest-running drama on our screens, with her major departure scheduled to air next week. But when she opened up about her last day on location, she disclosed a horror accident that ended in her missing all her pictures with the team and casting in the Salford studio complex from her final time.

Talk Well this week! Magazine, Lucy admitted that, as her cell was pinched, she was out partying waving goodbye to 5 years as Bethany Platt.

When she was threatened, she remembered heading out with co-stars Jack P Shepherd, Colson Smith, on-screen mother Tina O'Brien, Julie Goulding and Sally Ann Matthews to dance.

"My phone was stolen when we left," she says.

Eight of us, including the crew, had our phones stolen that night. "At least Lucy will have her memories on-screen forever!

And she had to contend with the heart-wrenching emotions of passing back, all while battling a two-day hangover as if that wasn't terrible enough.

"This whole day I felt sick, and crying," she said.

"I really felt like I was grieving." During her five-year stint on the show, which began in the 1960s, Lucy was at the helm of some big stories.

She scooped up her grooming storyline with a National TV Prize, one she tells she's very proud of, following the ceremony she received.

She explained that she felt most proud of the difficult-hitting plot because "it had the most effect," she revealed. "I still get texts now."

I got one from a woman who said she was abused between the ages of 10 and 21 and she began to realize as she watched Corrie.

"Now the man has been in prison for 17 years." And while that's very good news, it's all, unfortunately, coming to an end so, because Lucy shot her final scenes, which will air next week.

And with tensions rising, Bethany soon realizes Daniel is not over his wife Sinead (Katie McFlynn), who died before Christmas from terminal cancer.

Fans will have to wait and see what she chooses to do, but Lucy confessed that she was pleased with the scenes that would follow.

Glad that she was not killed, Lucy hoped the door would be left open for a possible return.

"It's unclear about my career, but not to assume I'm not going to do Corrie again. It was a big part of my life and I felt like a totally different person.'
