The actress marked 27 years of playing Irene Roberts earlier this year, making her the longest-serving female star ever on the soap.

Asked if she would consider leaving Summer Bay any time soon, the 67-year-old told the Daily Star: “I don’t have any concrete plans to leave at this point.

“While I have my health and wellbeing, while there is no COVID, I would enjoy the chance to do the occasional theater or pantomimes out there.

“So at the moment, I have no plans to go anywhere, I feel very fortunate to have a job in this current environment

“In Australia and the UK, I have so many friends who have had all these great dreams and shows that have come to naught.”
