Another episode of Neighbours will soon return, and this one will have a shocking surprise that will shock the Kennedys.

Izzy Hoyland (Natalie Bassingthwaighte) is returning to Ramsay Street, as is well known by viewers. It is reasonable to assume that her ex-boyfriend Karl (Alan Fletcher) and his wife Susan (Jackie Woodburne) won’t be pleased with her presence. However, they are about to experience the most unpleasant surprise yet.

Karl and Susan are overjoyed when their son Mal (Benjamin McNair) makes a surprise appearance. They are aware that something is wrong, though, and Mal is about to tell his parents something else about which he is unsure of how they will react.

Yes, as you could have figured, these two returns are related. Mal and Izzy are currently dating! Izzy was last seen in 2018, when she caused trouble by requesting Karl to contribute some of his sperm so that she may produce a sibling for their daughter Holly. Karl, fortunately, was able to mend his marriage to Susan after their affair.

Izzy stole a sample despite later learning she wasn’t pregnant because Karl had the good sense to refuse her request. Izzy appeared sincere in her want to be with Karl, but because this wasn’t an option, she turned away. Now it appears that she has selected his son Mal as the alternative. All at once, gross!

Mal and Izzy are together in Erinsborough since Mal has promised to tell Karl and Susan everything. Mal wants Izzy to remain covert, though, until the appropriate time arrives.

Opening up to the mother of his younger sister, his father’s ex-girlfriend, proves to be much more difficult for Mal than he had anticipated. Of course, Izzy isn’t the kind to follow instructions and is quickly seen out and about. Izzy then shows up at the Kennedys’ house without waiting for Mal to reveal his shocking revelation.

This is the moment when chaos reigns. How will Susan and Karl respond? It won’t be pretty, that much we can be sure of!

These scenes from Monday, July 11th, will show on Neighbours.
