Nobody wants to feel unwanted in their relationship, but that’s precisely what Amy (Jacinta Stapleton) fears in Neighbours when she begins to feel she’s no longer required in her polyamorous triad.

Amy’s friendships with Levi (Richie Morris) and Ned (Ben Hall) have always been thorny, but as the threesome’s situation worsens, they become even more difficult to negotiate.

It’s been a struggle for each of them to wrap their brains around a polyamorous relationship, and they’ve been put to the test by Sheila, Levi’s mother, and their own green-eyed monsters. This, though, will be their toughest test yet.

Afterword got out that both the guys spent the night in Amy’s bed, Ned and Levi are giving her the space she’s requested, but she’s still finding being the talk of the town tough. However, it isn’t the whole story, and Amy can’t bring herself to confess her genuine concern.

Levi is still the punchline at the police station, and he’s sick of it. He begins to wonder if it’s all worth it. He has a cheeky flirt with a stranger and loves it when she flirts back, as he craves a touch of normalcy. He is ready to accept her invitation for a drink since he enjoys the attention. This may give his other connection a whole new depth.

Later, he and Ned corner Amy and get her to reveal what has been bothering her. She admits that after their night together as a three, she is worried that the guys may become gay. And she’d be surplus to requirements as a result. The two scoff at the notion and try to convince her that they aren’t in love with one other. While Amy isn’t convinced, Levi tries to demonstrate his point by telling her he wants to date someone else as well.

Levi, on the other hand, does not receive the reception he anticipates. He expects Amy to be cool with it because she’s dating two guys, so he’s surprised when she says no. She wants him to be hers alone.

Levi, unprepared to accept her hypocrisy, informs her that he’s going on the date and that she’ll have to like it or lump it. Which option will she pick?

Scenes will begin airing on Channel 5 on Monday, October 18th.
