In Neighbours, has Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) finally pushed Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou) over the edge?
Terese has had to put up with a lot from her husband over the years, but it appears that there is no turning back now that Paul has outdone himself with his newest behaviour. After learning of Paul’s participation in the false baby Isla’s debut on Ramsay Street and finding he drove Jesse away, Terese pushed for them to take a break. However, it appears that the hiatus will now be permanent.
Paul is anxious not to let this happen, so he devises a new plot to entice her back, but she is much too savvy to his tricks. He tries to win Jesse’s favour by convincing him to return to Melbourne. But he’s in for a rude awakening when he tells Terese about his plan and she dismisses it. She isn’t impressed in the least with his feeble attempts to save their marriage.
Terese has another surprise in store for Paul: she has her own plan with Jesse, and he isn’t happy about it.
Paul hasn’t given up hope, and he’s crossing his fingers that Terese’s determination will be softened by Jesse’s presence in town. Jesse, astonishingly, fights Paul’s corner and tells Terese that Paul and David did the right thing by him. Paul, on the other hand, is naive if he believes it will be enough to win back his wife. Terese responds to his question – is their marriage truly over?
