New promo shows Blockbuster Week of Home and Away

A number of Home and Away advertisements are presently hinting at the show’s upcoming “Blockbuster Week,” which will feature drama for many of our favorite characters.

As Home and Away gets closer to its 8000th episode, a dramatic run of episodes will feature Justin (James Stewart) taking the law into his own hands, Xander (Luke Van Os) being in peril after being ambushed with a friend, and Felicity (Jacqui Purvis) and Tane (Ethan Browne) making a second attempt at marriage.

Starting off on a happy note, the promo previews what should be Tane and Felicity’s best day ever… Count two.

When Felicity and Eden (Stephanie Panozzo) were involved in a car crash on the way to the wedding as a result of the Death Adders bikie gang cutting the brake lines of the ute Eden was driving—the intended target was actually Felicity’s brother Cash—their first attempt at getting married ended in disaster. (Nicholas Cartwright).

Eden eventually fell into a stupor, and in the months that followed, Felicity held herself responsible, even though she knew Eden had only been operating the ute that day because she had changed her mind about getting married to Tane.

Felicity ended her relationship with Tane and left the home they shared, and it required her to return to her childhood home before she could confront her demons and reconcile with her fiance. She re-proposed to Tane on the beach in last Monday’s episode, and now it appears like their second attempt at a wedding is just days away.

Felicity has already stated that she doesn’t want to return to their initial location because she doesn’t want to be reminded of that traumatic day. It appears from the images in the new ad that this time around will be much more relaxed.

While Flick is wearing a bridal gown as Cash leads his sister down a tree-lined aisle, Cash is dressed more casually and is wearing a plaid shirt.

To the greatest day of my life,” Felicity is heard saying.

The reception is held at Salt, where we see a shot of Tane wearing a white shirt and Felicity still wearing her white bridal dress as Flick jumps up and down in excitement.

Fans of the show who have followed the show’s filming at Sydney’s Palm Beach have recently observed actors Ethan Browne and Jacqui Purvis donning wedding rings while recording scenes, indicating that this wedding will go off without a hitch and that Tane and Felicity will soon be wed.

Ava’s (Annabel Wolfe) disappearance storyline is featured in the latest batch of promos, some of which are presently airing on Seven in Australia.

Ava escaped from Theo (Matt Evans), who had made it plain to her that they would never be a thing, at the end of the previous week and boarded a blue campervan with an unknown person.

We see Justin’s rage at his daughter’s abduction in another storyline trailer, and the “Blockbuster Week” trailers give us a better idea of what to expect as he takes the law into his own hands.

“My daughter is missing, and I need you to find her,” he is heard telling Rose.

If this guy has hurt her in any way, he’s a dead man, Justin says back at the Morgan home.

Then, as the man gets dressed next to his recognizable campervan, Justin, who thinks the man has done something to his daughter, approaches and looks furious.

Justin grabs the man, before flinging him across the front of a nearby car.

Cash pulls up next to Justin’s ute and runs toward the combatants, so it appears that Justin may have to deal with the repercussions of his actions.

More importantly, will Ava be okay?

In one variation of the advertisement, Mackenzie is also seen crying uncontrollably. Has Gabe given her any updates?

In recent shows, Mac’s former fiancé Gabe (Akos Armont) learned that his cancer had come back. Prior to reentering Mackenzie’s life earlier this year, he battled non-Hodgkin lymphoma; however, despite his belief that the disease had been put into dormancy, recent tests revealed that it had returned.

He originally chose not to fight it, but after Mackenzie promised that she would be with him every step of the way, he finally attended his first chemo session.

That same evening, he noticed Mackenzie fighting to control her tears and decided he couldn’t put her through it. He then left her again with only a note explaining his actions.

The teaser also depicts Xander and Jamie, two paramedics, in peril after being attacked by a group of men carrying metal poles and bats.

In the episodes from last week, Xander and Jamie were having a conversation with Mali (Kyle Shilling) at the Coffee Cart when they noticed a suspicious-looking man they later identified as Conor (Tom Dawson) loitering around close to the rear of their ambulance.

The man fled as Jamie yelled, and Xander told Mali that it happened frequently in their line of work and that it was likely the narcotics in the car that the man was after.

Conor was captured in the act this time, but it appears he still has some resolve.

The teaser depicts how at least three men attack Xander and his coworker, and their use of metal poles and baseball bats suggests that they aren’t messing around.

Will Xander and Jamie be able to escape this precarious situation with just words? “Ok guys, look, we don’t want any trouble,” he informs them.

Although the promo claims to be for a single week, it’s not obvious if this is the case because it appears to show clips from the episodes that will air over the following two weeks.

In Australia, the scenes starring Justin, Ava, and the stranger who was surfing are anticipated to broadcast on Monday and Tuesday of this week, but Felicity and Tane’s second attempt at a wedding day is not anticipated to air until the following week.

Also absent from this week’s spoiler synopses is Xander, indicating that his ambush will broadcast the following week.
