Sam Frost dons activewear as she shoots scenes on the set of Home and Away – after confirming she will be temporarily written out following vaccine drama

Last Monday, Sam Frost was hard at work on the set of Home and Away.

The actress shot scenes for the soap in Palm Beach in Sydney, which serves as a stand-in for the fictional suburb of Summer Bay.

As she performed with her co-star Luke Van Os, the 32-year-old appeared calm and joyful.

Sam was dressed casually in a tropical-patterned athletic midriff top and tights.

She jogged along the sand, smiling broadly, as the team and cameras followed her.

Later scenes had the former reality star wearing torn blue denim shorts and a bohemian tank top.

Sam and Luke sat next to each other, conversing animatedly while they read their lines.

After her vaccine controversy made headlines, the former Bachelorette was back at work.

Sam has just reversed her anti-vax attitude, admitting that she will be vaccinated against Covid-19, but only after Channel Seven’s ‘no jab, no job’ deadline.

The actress stated that she will be fully vaccinated by late February, around seven weeks after the network’s vaccination rule for all presenters, cast, and crew takes effect on January 10.

Sam’s character Jasmine Delaney will be ‘written out momentarily’ because she won’t be permitted on the Palm Beach set until she’s been doubly vaxxed.

The former Bachelorette explained that she couldn’t have the shot sooner because she had a medical operation scheduled for January.’

Concerns: Sam has backflipped on her previous anti-vax stance, revealing she will get vaccinated against Covid-19 but not until after Channel Seven’s ‘no jab, no job’ deadline

She also stated that she would not be leaving the soap indefinitely and that she has the full backing of Seven executives.

It follows an email from Seven West Media’s Director of Production, Andrew Backwell, alerting staff that the network “shall only engage fully vaccinated presenters, actors, and crew.”

To continue working at Seven Productions, which produces Home and Away, employees will need to be double-vaccinated starting January 10.

Back on duty: The actress said she will be fully vaccinated by late February – about seven weeks after the network’s vaccine mandate for all presenters, cast and crew comes into effect on January 10

Details: Because Sam won’t be allowed on the Palm Beach set until she’s double vaxxed, her character Jasmine Delaney will be ‘written out temporarily’

Procedure: The former Bachelorette explained she wasn’t able to get the jab sooner because of an unspecified ‘medical procedure booked in for January’

‘To offer the safest possible work environment for cast, crew, and presenters, Seven Productions has made the decision to only engage people who are completely vaccinated against Covid-19, which will take effect in January next year,’ a spokeswoman for the network stated.

‘Vaccination is strongly recommended by Seven to safeguard our employees, their coworkers, and their families.’

Earlier this year, the actress, who has played nurse Jasmine on Home and Away since 2017, urged for a reduction in prejudice against unvaccinated Australians.

Break: She also insisted she wasn’t leaving the soap permanently and that she had the full support of Seven executives

In an Instagram video, she said, “I was extremely apprehensive about filming a video or even speaking up about this sort of issue, but I feel like it’s getting to a stage now in the world where there’s a lot of segregation.”

‘A lot of harsh judgment and comments are flung about a lot, and it’s definitely affecting my mental health.’

‘And I know that individuals around me are having difficulty – particularly if they are opposed to vaccination for whatever reason.’

Staff directive: It comes after the Director of Production at Seven West Media, Andrew Backwell, sent an email to staff informing them the network ‘will only engage fully vaccinated presenters, cast and crew’

‘There are many different reasons why people do not get vaccinated, and it might be because of their medical history, their worries, their family history, or religious beliefs.’

Sam then claimed she hadn’t been vaccinated, but that she had discussed her option with her medical doctor and a psychologist; nevertheless, it is known she does not have a genuine medical exemption.

‘It’s a really hard moment to be in society right now, and you feel like you’re less of a human, and you feel like others criticize you,’ she continued bitterly.
