Over ten years have passed since Ricky last visited Albert Square, but he is soon to return thanks to Sid, who will be reprising his legendary role for a few months this year.

<strong><em>Sids return storyline will be part of Janines current situation with Mick and Linda<em><strong>

Chris Clenshaw, the executive producer, told the media that Ricky was at home and that Janine was present and seeing Mick.

We’re building to a pretty dramatic exchange between them, but Janine has Mick and the Vic to herself completely.

But it’s clear that everyone is aware of how close Mick and Linda are to one another and how deeply they love one another.

“But we are aware of Janine’s character and her abilities. I won’t reveal the specifics of how Sid returns because they are important to Janine’s narrative.

<em><strong>Sid Owen will reprise his role as Ricky later this year<strong><em>

Currently, Janine and Linda, Mick’s ex-wife, are at odds.

Forcing Linda to drive under the influence, she most recently blackmailed Jada to carry out her nefarious deeds.

Jada was coerced by Janine into calling social services on Linda and placing empty alcohol bottles in the apartment she is renting.

As Annie is whisked away from a distraught Linda, her sabotage succeeds as she had intended.

As Linda has been on her quest to recover Annie, Mick has been a tremendous support.

Could Mick and Linda become friends as a result of Janine’s plotting?

Will Mick find out the truth regarding Janine’s role in the collision?

Will Ricky’s comeback have any bearing on Danny Dyer’s departure from the soap opera, which is scheduled to occur later this year?
