Tammin Sursok, a former star of Home and Away, is joining the cast of Neighbours!
Tammin Sursok, the actress who portrayed Dani Sutherland on Home and Away from 2000 to 2004, has joined the cast of Neighbours for a six-week guest appearance.
Tammin’s guest appearance was first rumoured last week, but it has now been verified. More information on the post is likely to be released in the coming weeks.
Although there had been no official confirmation of this employment until today, curiosity was high when Tammin stated on Instagram that she and her husband were planning a road trip from Queensland to Melbourne.
Tammin will play the part for the first time since returning to Australia in June of last year. The 38-year-old recently returned from the United States, where she had to remain because of the pandemic.
Tammin gained a name for herself in the United States by portraying Colleen Carlton on The Young and the Restless and the blind Jenna Marshall on Pretty Little Liars.
Tammin spoke candidly with Woman’s Day in May 2021 when asked if she will ever reprise her role as Dani on Home and Away.
“I’d definitely do a cameo for the fans,” she stated.
“It’s where I started and what gave me everything in my career – I don’t know where my life would’ve gone if it hadn’t been for that show.”
“I’m happy for the opportunity and the experience, so I’d probably do a cameo.”
Tammin (@tamminsursok) announced her new role on Instagram Stories with a photo of her Neighbours scripts with the remark “Squeezed in a short gig before my next tv show, which is the polar opposite of this.” It should be an exciting few weeks!”
Tammin’s assignment is expected to begin in February and end in the last week of March. Her initial scenes are expected to air in the UK in late March and Australia in mid-April.
