Tammin Sursok has said that she has second thoughts about her decision to join the cast of Home And Away at the age of barely 15.

From 2000 until 2004, the Australian actress of South African descent portrayed Dani Sunderland on the venerable soap opera.

Nevertheless, the now-39-year-old believes that despite her highly successful acting career that followed, she may have been too young when she was thrown into the spotlight.

The Pretty Little Liars actress said it would have been good to have gone to high school in a “normal” way when asked whether she had any regrets in life by news.com.au.

The problem is that there have been occasions in her life when she has reflected, “Ooh, would I have started at 15?”

I was so impressionable and immature that I had no real sense of which way was up. At the age of 15, I decided to pursue a career in acting.

It wasn’t my parents because I wanted it so hard, but wouldn’t it have been better for my mental health if I had gone to a regular high school and not been in the spotlight?

The actress does admit that she might not have gotten other opportunities, like appearing in Hannah Montana and The Young and the Restless, if she hadn’t seized the chance to act in Home and Away.
