Un-lovable butterfly! Isabel Lucas, the former star of Home and Away, reveals her new role in Byron Bay

She's the Australian actress and environmental activist who launched her Home and Away story.

And Isabel Lucas unveiled on Thursday her surprising new job living in Byron Bay's sleepy town.

I am a beekeeper in Byron, it is my way of supporting healthy populations of bees and natural pollination,' she added.

In a September interview with Stellar, commenting on her performance in the competitive industry, Isabel shared the best piece of career advice she's got.

Sometimes you have to take some time out and fill up again ' she said.

The actress clarified that  realizing that she has the power to say' no' is something she has applied over the years.

Seen alongside her fellow castmates Home and Away (left to right) Ada Nicodemou, Jason Smith, Laurie Foell, and Chris Hemsworth Isabel's most recent appearance was in the Australian comedy-drama Chasing Comets, along with Dan Ewing, George Houvardas and Stan Walker.

In 2016 she moved from Los Angeles to the Byron Bay coastal enclave.

She travels back and forth regularly for work in Australia and the United States.
