It’s not every day that a new inhabitant arrives in Summer Bay, so it’s a reason for celebration when they do. At the very least, off-screen.

The cast of Home and Away has been showing their support for the show’s newest addition, Matt Evans, who debuted as Theo this week. While his character may have gotten off to a shaky start onscreen, he’s made a strong impact on his co-stars.

Georgie Parker (Roo Stewart) welcomed Matt to the Home and Away family by sharing a photo with James Stewart (Justin Morgan).

She wrote, “This totally wonderful individual joins our show tonight.” “Welcome to The Bay, Matt,”

James took to Instagram to offer his own behind-the-scenes photos from the shoot, including a picture with Matt.

In his caption, he said, “Welcome to the funhouse Matty!!”

Meanwhile, the other Home and Away actors took to Instagram Stories to express their admiration for Matt.

Nicholas Cartwright joked about his character, Constable Cash Newman, rushing after Theo in his first scenes, writing, “Literally can’t wait to arrest this guy.”

Lukas Radovich hinted to impending trouble when he wrote: “Today is Matt Evans’ birthday! Thank you for joining the team. Watch as Ryder and Theo get themselves into all kinds of mischief.”

Matt’s character Theo, who made his debut appearance on Thursday night’s episode, is revealed to be a relative of someone in town when he gets pulled over for speeding by Cash.

In a recent interview, Matt said of his character, “He is simply fun, he is act first, think afterwards.”

“He makes snap decisions without considering the consequences, and as a result, he frequently finds himself into problems. When it comes down to it, he has a decent heart.”

Matt had already auditioned for The Voice Australia in 2020, and this isn’t the first time he’s performed on Australian television.

Matt made it to the Top 20 as a member of Team Delta, and his beautiful voice left a lasting effect on spectators. He’s now ready to put his acting skills to the test.

“I’ve fallen in love with acting and want it to be a permanent part of my life. I’ll never stop making music since it’s something I’ve always done, therefore I’d like to do both “According to The Daily Telegraph, he said.

We’re excited to see what Theo does now that he’s arrived in Summer Bay!
