Supporters of both teams should anticipate more turmoil next week.
Regarding the victim impact statements, Eden is incredibly conflicted because she fears the two brothers who carried out the kidnapping will receive the same penalty. Eden makes the decision to assist Mickey in receiving a reduced sentence as a result.
Remi, on the other hand, is furious and feels that both brothers ought to pay for what they done. Eden becomes upset that nobody can relate to her and leaves to go see Levi.
Eden is encouraged by Levi, who assures her that she is making the correct decision. Regaining her confidence, she goes back to Remi and promises to do everything it takes to assist Mickey.
Eden is left stunned when Remi retaliates, saying he is going to make an announcement that is in direct opposition to hers. Cash stands by Eden while they continue to argue about the matter.
He informs Remi that Eden is the one telling her tale, and she has every right to do so. Eden then captures her words in the hopes that Mickey will eventually change for the better.
After learning this, Remi changes his mind and promises not to obstruct her. Leah struggles to live with Justin once more since she is still terrified of harming him.
Valerie, who offers to stay with Leah till she settles, hears about her confidance. Justin appears uncertain when Leah tells him. In order to get to know one another better, Justin and Valerie stroll down the beach.
When he inquires about Valerie’s path to the clinic, he unintentionally sets her off. Later that night, Valerie strolls alone down the shore and appears distressed.
The two become closer after she receives a text from Theo inviting her to his show at Salt. When Theo finds out he failed his TAFE course the following day, he is devastated.
Theo is left perplexed as Valerie storms out, snapping at his response. When he runs into Valerie at the beach, she apologizes for dismissing his sentiments and he apologizes for grumbling when she’s thinking about her brother.
As they relax on the beach, Kirby notices Theo pulling her into an embrace. Theo agrees to talk when she requests to, but things quickly grow hot.
Kirby is yelled at by Theo, who then storms off. When Valerie notices his sorrow, she offers him a medicine that she thinks would “help.” Theo swallows it after he hesitates for a while.
When Tane overhears Mackenzie and Mali arguing across the bay, she tells him about her affair with Levi. Mackenzie storms out as she doesn’t like what Tane says.
Later, after acknowledging that he was projecting his marriage onto her, he apologizes. He tells Mackenzie that he had slept with Felicity just before leaving for New Zealand.
Tane appears to be poised to make a big announcement while lost in thought, when Mackenzie receives a call from Levi and goes to answer it. Later, after realizing there is nothing left for him in Summer Bay, Tane tells Mali he’s returning to New Zealand.
Shocked, Mali chooses to inform Felicity. She unexpectedly shows up at Tane’s house and demands to know why he wasn’t the source of the news.
As they discuss the possibilities of dating other people, Felicity gives him her assurance that she’s prepared to go on. Tane chooses to stay, at least for the time being, full of hope.
