EastEnders’ Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) decides that it may be time to leave Albert Square for good after being forced to the brink by even more devastating news.

EastEnders spoilers have revealed that Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) is going to urge Whitney to get back to normal following her recent ordeal. Still, things are going to get a lot worse.

She will soon discover that Leo’s death has been talked about online by his mom Michaela, and she has added Whitney’s name to her post.

Whitney turned in for killing Leo, but as she had previously reported his stalking before his death, she cites self-defense.

On the market, she realizes everyone is all staring at her, and with Sonia and Chantelle (Jessica Plummer) desperately trying to keep the posts a secret, she discovers what Michaela said to her.

A devastated Whitney then talks to Max Branning (Jake Wood), who reveals his harrowing year behind bars after he was wrongfully jailed for killing Bobby Beale.

Unable to face the thought of prison, Whitney becomes determined to take things into her own hands. Her strategy soon becomes clear when she searches her passport-she wants to escape Walford and flee the country.

Is she going to leave the soap for good and escape from jail? Shona said to Metro.co.uk, “Things are probably going to get harder for Whitney.” It’s going to be a tough next couple of weeks. Yet Whit is strong, a survivor.”

She spoke about how much she wanted to play Whitney when she said, “I enjoy playing any scene as Whitney on the show.”But I especially enjoyed playing Whitney’s journey through her hunger strike in prison.

As I read the script for the first time, I cried. It was so emotional writing.”

It looks like this could be the end of Whitney
